CPAUG in Eastern Uganda-“School Outreaches -sharing knowledge”

Between 19th-23th June, 2014 CPAUG with support from its promoters and membership held several school activities in Eastern Uganda in Mbale district at Manafwa High School and Grace SSS on key themes targeting students that is on “TB and the role of young people” and “Consumer Protection.” The students reached were around 110 in both school with the focus being on senior five (S5) students as part of their general paper studies.

The outreaches were aiming at sharing information and rallying the student to join the campaign in promoting a free TB Uganda and also make them be aware about their consumer rights and responsibilities as youth.

At Grace SSS the students were able to participate in a mini-consumer perception survey results of which will be shared at the end of the year with different stakeholders working on consumer issues in Uganda.
